Livability
Friday Harbor brings island employment, education, health care, shops, and the ferry gateway into one town. Its working waterfront and community services support the appeal of living on San Juan Island throughout the year.[1]
Let’s talk ↗Townhome development

A townhome community in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. The project applies permanent modular construction to fee-simple housing, with a business plan centered on individual home sales.
Current project status, plans, and any investment terms should be confirmed directly with the team.
For Guard Street Townhomes, the same philosophy is applied to homeownership and individual home sales.

San Juan County’s housing assessment documents home prices rising faster than wages and exceeding statewide prices. For these for-sale townhomes, we compare purchase prices and monthly ownership costs with local incomes and competing island homes—not apartment rents.[2]
The town’s March 2025 capacity memo identifies a gap between existing housing capacity and its 2045 allocation. Seasonal and second-home demand also limits housing available to residents. Townhomes add an ownership option; feasibility still depends on buyer demand, sales pace, island logistics, and total delivery costs.[2][3]
County housing trends provide context and do not establish Guard Street pricing or affordability. The development uses a for-sale strategy; no sales pace or investment outcome is promised.
